About Red Lobster
In the year 1985, red lobster was founded which happens to be one of the most famous American cuisine dining chains all over the world. It is situated at Lakeland, Florida, the U.S. and the owner and founder of this company are Bill Darden. The company happens to have its headquarters in Orlando Florida.
Various sorts of its operations are processed in Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Australia and so on and so forth. By 2013, the company had 705 locations throughout the world. In the year 2014, their new headquarters were announced in the area of CNL Center City Common in Orlando. By 2015, the company opened an official Restaurant Support Center.
The restaurant is specialised in seafood such as lobster, shrimp, fish, crab and molluscs. Chicken, steak and pasta are also served by them. Though, The Red Lobster Company was once charged because they were using less expensive langostino with Maine lobster in their lobster bisque recipe.
In the year 1995, after the death of Bill Darden in 1994, the Red Lobster Company became a part of the Darden Restaurants. The restaurant was modelled after the coastal New England in 2009. Because of the citing pressure from the stock investors, Darden Restaurants planned to sell or just spin off the Red Lobster Brand. After many announcements and plans, Darden made it sure that he would be selling the Red Lobster restaurant to the Golden Gate Capital on May 2014. In July 2014, it was finally announced that the Red Lobster seafood Restaurant Chain has been sold completely.
The snow crab leg was offered endlessly by the Red Lobster Restaurant twice in its promotion which led the red lobster to diminish their customer capacity per hour.
